my roommate vent

My roommate who handles the comcast bill had been collecting money each month from my other roommate and I, but guess what: she wasn’t paying the full bill with it.
So, we were carrying a balance since December and they finally turned us off. And apparently, my roommate had been warned, multiple times and did/said nothing. Now, we owe all this money and my roommate thinks we should all split it. Theres no way in hell I owe that much!! But there’s no way to determine what I actually owe, what she didn’t pay, etc.
It’s the most messed up situation I’ve been in regarding roommates. I’m graduating in a little over a month, so I’m thankful for that but I’m really upset I had to go out this way. I have no intention of keeping a friendship with this girl after we move on. It’s a shame, but I guess you live and learn.

be vocal with your room mate and stand up to their stupidities. If the bill is in her name then you are not responsible for the money
so no worries. let her know it’s her fault. you have paid in full and its her responsibility to pay her late fees

Is the bill in yr name? If not, be glad it was not thankfully and get Netflix on yr computer. Great investment $8-10 for emotional sobriety.
If that is the least of the problems, be glad. If not, I feel for you, I have through worst and recognize the signs of negative to criminal roommates and I keep walking-away.
