My roommate is a souless cross between Veruca Salt and a klansman

I am a college freshman living in a dorm. Since I’ve moved in I’ve found my roommate to be sheltered, but easy to deal with.
However, she recently decided to go downtown to the public library with my other roommate (i live in a suite) and took her laptop and iPhone. She left her iPhone out on the table and someone took the oppurtunity to steal it. She didn’t see who the theif was, but assumed it was a homeless black man.
Last night she talked to her parents over skype. Her mother told her it was her fault that the phone was stolen and she should have known better (true) and she started to have a hissy fit. This continued for a long time, and then she said "I’m not going to support welfare or food stamps or anything else like that ever. I hate homeless people, they’re evil. In theology class, we have to do this project about poverty in America, and I hate it because I have to act like I feel sorry for these people. But I don’t. They’re all niggers who steal your iPhone."
I know a kid just like this. Claims he’s not a racist, until someone stole his iphone. Then he’s all n-words.
