My roommate and her boyfriend have no respect

So my roommate and I are really good friends. We choose to room together this year and are looking at apartments for next year. It bugs be though how she is always bouncing between guys. She’s always with jerks. Now she has finally been Facebook official with this one guys for over a month. I’m glad she has found someone… but he drives me nuts!

I have my boyfriend over during the day sometimes, but we were all friends even before we started dating so it isn’t really awkward. When my roommate is here, my boyfriend and I sit on the futon like normal people and we all hang out. If my roommate is sleeping and I need to get something from our room, I make him wait in the hall.

I’ve only meet my roommate’s new boyfriend a few times and I just don’t really like him, and the way they behave around me is totally unacceptable. They’ll come in during the day when I’m trying to finish work for my next class. Considering I’m usually rushing and am using heavy books, it’s not an ideal time for me to relocate. They will just start watching a show, not even being considerate enough to put in earphones. I could maybe tolerate this, just maybe, but they don’t just chill on the futon. They get right in her bed, all the way under the covers. It’s like they’re just waiting for me to leave…

One time I explicitly said “I’ll be back in five minutes.” I even left the door partially open. When I got back, five minutes later, he had his shirt off and was on top of her. Seriously?! The door was open and I SAID I WAS COMING BACK!

Another time, I had just gotten ready to take a nap after an all-nighter. My roommate texted me, asking where I was. I said in the room, napping. She replied “ok, I’ll only be in there a sec, I have to get something.” With that response, I figured I didn’t have to get up. Wrong. Her and her roommate come in and get right in bed. NOT OK!

Get a room, just not this one

My roommate and her nasty, ignorant boyfirend are in our dorm room literally as early as she gets out of class until visiting hours end. It’s exam week. I’m trying to write my term paper in OUR room, and she and her boyfriend are laying on the floor talking baby talk to each other. I might die.

I have a roommate in the dorms that I lived with for two years. The first year was okay, but now she is so annoying. I am not the most exciting person, but I spend a good deal of time out with friends, at a few parties, going shopping, hanging out with friends in other rooms, etc. But she never goes anywhere. Every now and then she goes to eat with someone or to study with someone but she never hangs out with anyone. I would love to have some alone time besides when she is in class. The worst part is her boyfriend. I am single, but if I had a boyfriend I wouldn’t make him the only thing in my life. She has no interests or hobbies besides being with her boyfriend. He comes and stays every freaking weekend because she can’t go home, but of course they can’t be apart for two weeks. He is nice and all, but they sit around with the lights off and watch tv and I never even hear them talk. I never catch them doing anything, like literally anything. I hate being in the same room as them because of the weird vibe, and I hate coming to the room after midnight and wanting to sleep but he snores like a cow. The funny thing is she has a sister also in college, and her sister is always out with friends having fun and my roommate complains about her sister and that she doesn’t have her priorities straight but her sister actually made better grades than her. She is definitely not the worst roommate, but I wish I lived with someone who was fun and not dependent on her boyfriend.

My roomie’s boyfriend is her bitch. I have to watch her order him to clean her dishes, walk her dogs, and buy her food when shes sick or having a craving. The worst part is.. he wasnt even getting sex in return.. They were virgins up until a month ago. It is soo frustrating to sit back and watch this horrible relationship. Did I mention that he sleeps over all the time.. I wake up in the morning and hes just THERE. I’m pretty sure I pay over a thousand dollars of rent a month.. not him! ughhh.

so my roommate has this boyfriend. when i agreed to let her move in, she said that she has a boyfriend who comes over "every now and then." well, he’s here 3-4 out of the 7 days of the week. he bothers me for two main reasons:

first, he smokes and he’s always sick, so he has this nagging cough, and he has the WORST sickness manners. he never covers his mouth when he coughs or sneezes. he sits in out living room, coughing and sneezing all over my couch, my coffee table, eating surfaces, etc. EW.

the most disgusting pet peeve is when he’s washing his hands or doing dishes in the kitchen sink. when he has to sneeze or cough, rather than covering his mouth with his wet hand or coughing into his sleeve, he turns his head and SNEEZES ALL OVER MY CLEAN DISHES IN THE DISH RACK. EW. he’s gotten me sick several times. ew.

second, my roommate has this huge antique bed frame that’s probably as old as my grandmother. it squeaks and creaks when any pressure is applied to it, as does her mattress. she has set up her bed so that the head board is against my bedroom wall. her and her boyfriend are rather gigantic people, so that when they decide to fuck furiously at 3 AM, their gyrations are amplified through the frame and the wall, making it impossible for me to sleep, or even try to ignore it.

AND. he always smells like cigarettes. and he throws his empty packs and cigarette butts in our garbage so our kitchen always smells like a wet ashtray.

next time i interview a roommate with a boyfriend who comes over "every now and then" i’ll run for the hills.

You know, Everything was fine for the first few months. We both were happy. Then surely enough I was doing all the cleaning- dishes- floors- vacuuming-folding your crap in the dryer-buying groceries-bathroom products! You lazy sh**!

Then you decide you want some fu**** animals, so you get a hedgehog, a lizard, a dog! WTF! You know I have a cat and that was on the contract when we signed! My cat is up to date with shots and vaccines. You have never took the dog to see a vet…Your hedgehog died and so did your lizard. You are a worthless piece of sh** that kills animals! You are negligent and irresponsible! You FU**** SUCK! I HATE YOU. You think there is enough room for your free-loading boyfriend also? SURE, no problem! NO…he smells and makes more of a mess…. You know when I ask something like ” So was the electricity Bill taken care of?” and when you say yes…. Why do you think I would be upset when there is a piece of paper taped to the door that reads “termination”….Really? Are you that fu**in careless????

Teen you decide you want a cat…so you bring a stray kitten in the house….. It ruins my carpet, scratches up my couch, and even mess’s with my fat older cat. Then 7 months later it gets sick….You than decide to go out of town while it’s locked in your room dying of FeLV (leukemia)…. You horrid BIT**……did you not think of what I was telling you all this time?! Now my cat is infected with that sh*T because of you! You stupid dumb sh**. And then you want to play the victim?! You are such a irresponsible piece of shi*. You have ruined my life! My cat that I have had for 6 years that I now have to take to the vet and figure what the FU** I am goin to do!
